Abstract
“At a time when the intensity of refugees and migration is a global issue, the concern of the Portuguese government, which received the first refugees, is Portuguese language learning and vocational training so that refugees can be set in Portugal. Refugee integration policies implemented by the Portuguese government convey a message of openness: it can and should welcome more refugees. However, this political will brings great challenges at the school because school and teachers are not always prepared and open to these changes.”
