Esta obra oferece um relato internacional do uso de paisagens linguísticas para promoção da educação multilingue, desde a escola primária até à universidade, e em programas de formação de professores, apresentando estudos empíricos desenvolvidos em onze países: Austrália, França, Alemanha, Israel, Japão, Moçambique, Países Baixos, Portugal, Rússia, Espanha e Estados Unidos.
Traz as paisagens linguísticas para a vanguarda da educação multilingue em contextos escolares e na formação de professores, alargando os domínios disciplinares através dos quais têm sido estudadas.
Os capítulos ilustram como as pedagogias multilingues podem ser reforçadas utilizando paisagens linguísticas no ensino regular e são escritos por parceiros do projecto Erasmus+ LoCALL “LOcal Linguistic Landscapes for global language education in the school context”.
