No âmbito das Unidades Curriculares (UC) de Iniciação à Prática de Ensino de Inglês e de Didática do Inglês para Crianças, da responsabilidade das investigadoras CIDTFF Ana Raquel Simões e Ana Isabel Andrade, realiza-se, no dia 27 de maio de 2025, entre as 14h30-15h30, a aula aberta “Digitally Fluent Classrooms: Embedding Digital Pedagogy in Language Education”.
Dinamizada pelas convidadas em mobilidade Ioana Mudure-Iacob (PhD, Lecturer) e Alexandra Cotoc (PhD, Senior Lecturer) do Department of Foreign Languages for Specific Purposes da Faculty of Letters, Babeș-Bolyai University, Roménia, é dirigida a professores de línguas, formadores de professores, investigadores.

The workhop is based on the content created in the Erasmus+ project Digital pedagogy to develop Autonomy, mediate and certify Lifewide and Lifelong Language Learning for (European) Universities (DIAL4U).
Our invitation is to engage into a warm-up session which develops the taste for consistent digital fitness training by tapping into a variety of language contents and formats. The aim is to test apps and strategies based on an individual approach in terms of their selection and description and indicate structures for creating teaching and learning activities/sequences to be used to create autonomous and empowered learners.
Workshop participants will be offered sets of apps, and tools to design new teaching activities either for particular language skills or integrated/transferable skills. The newly designed teaching activities will also be discussed in order to ensure feedback and reflection and further develop OERs for an EAP/ESP community of practice. An additional outcome of the workshop is the development of examples of good practice as a toolkit for instructors and learners to use.
