A 8th World Conference on Qualitative Research (WCQR 2024) que teve lugar, simultaneamente, na Ilha de São Miguel, Açores, em Joanesburgo, África do Sul, e online, de 23 a 25 de janeiro de 2024, contou com vários contributos de investigadores que damos a conhecer.

A World Conference on Qualitative Research é uma conferência que reúne, anualmente, investigadores, académicos e profissionais do campo da Investigação Qualitativa, para a partilha e discussão de conhecimentos, novas perspectivas, experiências e inovações.
O CIDTFF é um dos parceiros da WCQR. Os investigadores do CIDTFF António Pedro Costa, Fábio Freitas e Jaime Ribeiro fizeram parte da comissão organizadora e são coordenadores da WCQR, da Comissão Organizadora e do Programa Online, respetivamente.
O evento contou ainda com a participação de António Moreira (CIDTFF) na comissão consultiva e integraram a comissão científica os investigadores do CIDTFF, António Moreira, Cecília Guerra, Isabel Cabrita, Isabel Huet, Patrícia Sá e Rui Neves.
